The Mansfield Art Center's award-winning modern wood and glass building sits on 8.5 acres of wooded meadow. Admission is free. The annual exhibition schedule includes:
- Two juried shows
- Four invitational theme shows combining the newest works in all media by contemporary Ohio artists
- A special exhibition (borrowed from one of America's top museums)
- The Holiday Fair (exhibition and sales of fine gifts in November)

Located in downtown Mansfield at the corner of 4th and Main Streets, Richland Carousel Park is the centerpiece of the Carrousel District. The district features several blocks of art galleries, restaurants, antique shops and other storefronts in beautifully restored Victorian Age buildings.
The working carrousel that anchors the park was completed in 1991 and is the first new hand-carved carrousel to be built and operated in the U.S. since the early 1930's. It includes 30 horses, 22 menagerie figures and 2 chariots. Each figure has been uniquely designed, carved and hand-painted in the style of G.A. Dentzel, one of the most well known and respected carvers of the early 1900's. A Stinson Band Organ greets visitors and carrousel riders with authentic carrousel music.
